The chocho or Andean lupine (Lupinus mutabilis Sweet) is our flagship ingredient and the inspiration for the development of our products, fulfilling the objective of contributing to our consumers’ nutrition.

This legume has its origin in the Andean region of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, and is considered a superfood for its unique nutritional characteristics; a source of vitamin B which helps reduce cholesterol, triglyceride and blood pressure levels and it is an excellent source of lysine, a limiting essential amino acid in cereal-based products such as bread and pasta.
